Congratulations to our cool kids of the week, Luke and Adele. Our cool kids get special privileges such as helping pass out snack and dismissing tables. They also get a cool poster with special messages saying how great they are! Way to go Luke and Adele!

O-C seventh graders were busy this week creating collagraph prints of plants.
This is a friendly reminder that there will be no school on Monday, November 16th in order to provide our teachers more preparation time and conduct interviews for our superintendent search.
Classes will resume as usual on Tuesday, November 17th.

I’m so proud of the kids doing something new and performing their Two-Voice Poems today! We are learning and growing every day!
Fifth grade has been working hard on writing a two-voice poem. They all did a great job performing them today.
Due to a shortage in staffing, the Bright Knights After School Program will be closed from November 12-Thanksgiving. We will plan to resume programming on November 30. If we are still short staff at that time we will re-evaluate our options and communicate any changes with you.
Due to the ongoing Winter Weather Advisory/Ice Storm Warning along with the continuing threat of power outages and downed power lines/ tree limbs, O-C schools will be closed today (Tuesday, November 10th)
