Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Board of Education of the School District of Oakland-Craig, in the County of Burt, in the State of Nebraska, a/k/a School District No. 014, has been scheduled on January 13, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. This meeting will be held at the Oakland-Craig Elementary Building at Oakland, NE, in the Board meeting room, which meeting will be open to the public.
The agenda is available for public inspection at the office of the Superintendent.
Mr. Meyer’s science classes had a Christmas snowball fight to tell about their holiday vacation.




Henry Doorly brought the zoo to OC. Thanks to Theo Bland of Woodhouse Ford for sponsoring this assembly for the after school program. Students learned about different animals and were able to see/touch live animals.



The Plant House enjoyed an excellent trip to AgWerx to learn about using airplanes and helicopters for agricultural purposes! Special thanks to Allen Soll for such a great tour!

OC second graders created their own starry, winter night based on the painting Starry Night by artist Vincent Van Gogh.




Mrs. Richter had a challenge for the 6th graders.....if they’d get a B average 2nd quarter, she’d bring a pizza party! Well, they pulled out a 90.4 average and she pulled out all the stops! Pizza, breadsticks, cookies and pop....oh my! Thank you to Mrs. Richter for her support and encouragement!!

The Elementary Holiday Shop is open for one more day, Thursday December 19th. If your kiddos missed the chance to go with their class or want to go back Thursday, December 19th is the last chance!
