Parent Teacher Conferences will be held for all 7-12 OCHS students on Monday, October 18th and Thursday, October 21st from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Due to the high school scheduled football and volleyball games, Mr. Anderson and Mr. Lundquist will not be available on Monday evening. All other teachers are scheduled to be present Monday, and all teachers are scheduled to be present on Thursday evening. Please contact Mrs. Burton in the office with any questions.

On Monday, OC 4th-6th graders had the opportunity to participate in “Cookies & Canvas”. They explored mixed-media painting and created an autumn pumpkin.




K-3 completed our activity for our first Golden Sower, "Dandy". We planted seeds like our main character Sweetie!

OC Artists had a blast creating today at Midland University’s Art & Design Day. Students learned new skills in illustration, encaustic painting, mosaic glass, and mixed-media.

Our 1st grade friend Axel brought us each our own pumpkin to decorate! We enjoyed being creative and then we read to our new pumpkin friends! Thank Wood family for your pumpkin surprise!




We hosted our first after school Olympics. Students competed in a relay race in teams of 5. They had to complete a wheelbarrow race, bean bag toss, jump rope, and potato sack race. We ended the day with tug of war.

The 5th grade science class did an activity involving a chemical reaction with baking soda and blackberries that allowed for an invisible word(s) to become visible.
