The after school students (and staff😀) are enjoying the snow while it lasts.
Mrs. Jacobsen’s third grade class has been busy writing informational paragraphs about frogs, we have written our first draft, and today had our peers critique to write our final draft. They have been working hard to gather information and write their informational paragraphs.

Tuesday is Ag Literacy Day at O-C! You have a chance to keep learning about agriculture by downloading the GooseChase app and searching "Oakland FFA Week." CVA is offering prizes to people with the highest points!

1st grade has been studying physical characteristics of birds. After conducting research through multiple texts, we thought we’d perform our own experiment by using models of different bird beaks!

Due to the forecasted Wind Chill Warning with dangerously cold temperatures and the potential for an electric grid rolling blackout, Oakland-Craig Schools will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday, February 16th) with all morning activities cancelled.
Due to the forecasted Wind Chill Warning with dangerously cold temperatures all day tomorrow and into Tuesday, Oakland-Craig Schools will be closed tomorrow (Monday, February 15th with all activities cancelled.
Due to weather conditions, the winter dance will conclude at 11:00 p.m. tonight. The freshman class will still take down decorations after the dance. Doors will open at 8:00 p.m. for pictures, and class pictures will begin at 8:30 p.m. The dance entrance fee is $5. We are looking forward to enjoying the night with our Knights!
