The last elementary STEAM activity of the year concluded with an all grade Parachute Drop! Congratulations to 4th grader Ryker Foutch who designed the slowest descending parachute this year!

We had a fun family night to celebrate a great year at Bright Knights. We roasted hot dogs and s’mores over a fire! Thanks to the Oakland Woman’s Club and Nelsons Food Pride for the kind and generous donations.
1st grade is ending our year in reading groups by practicing some readers theaters!

On Friday, May 6, twenty-eight area schools brought their top math students to compete in the WSC Mathematics contest.
OCHS was represented well as all seven students competing brought home medals and/or certificates! Gretchen Seagren placed 2nd in Algebra I with Karley Erickson placing 15th; in Geometry, River Wallerstedt earned 2nd and Bailey Denton placed 10th; in Algebra 2, Syndey Guzinski placed 4th and Shea Johnson placed 5th; and Grant Seagen took 1st in Calculus. Congratulations!
~ OC Senior Art Show ~ Senior art students will be exhibiting a collection of artwork before and after the Academic Honors and Awards Night that will be held Tuesday, May 10 at 7 p.m.
Seniors that will be displaying art and who will be recognized are: Kiley Arlt, Ashley Bicking, Gabrielle Dibble, Juliett Griffin, Faith Hendrickson, and Milo Unwin.
